Oh ya ada kabar terbaru nih, meskipun pandemi covid-19 masih belum selesai tetapi tidak menyurutkan niat kita untuk melaksanakan kegiatan bakti sosial di bulan yang penuh berkah ini. Tentunya kegiatan BAKSOS ini menggunakan prosedur yang aman.

Alhamdulillah, dalam bulan Ramadhan ini meskipun ditengah pandemi virus covid-19 yang masih berlangsung. SMAN 8 Kota Bogor mengajak seluruh masyarakat sekitar untuk tetap berbagi kebahagiaan dengan orang-orang sekitar yang membutuhkan pertolongan terutama yang terkena dampak dari virus tersebut.
Semoga menjadi berkah ya dan senantiasa ALLAH SWT meridhai semua kebaikan yang kita lakukan..

Hardiknas (Hari Pendidikan Nasional) diperingati setiap tanggal 2 Mei di Indonesia. Penetapan tanggal 2 Mei sebagai Hardiknas berdasarkan Keputusan Presidan (Kep. Pres) No. 316 Tahun 1959 yang ditanda-tangani pada 16 Desember 1959. Penetapan tanggal 2 Mei yang ditetapkan sebagai Hardiknas ini adalah tanggal lahir Ki Hadjar Dewantara, salah seorang pahlawan nasional kita yang dihormati sebagai “Bapak Pendidikan Nasional” sejak dari era kolonialisme Belanda hingga sekarang. Ki Ki Hadjar Dewantara dikenal karena keberaniannya menentang kebijakan pendidikan Pemerintah Hindia Belanda masa itu, yang hanya memperbolehkan anak-anak Belanda dan orang kaya yang bisa mengenyam pendidikan. Kritiknya terhadap kebijakan Pemerintah Kolonial Belanda menyebabkan dia diasingkan ke Belanda. Setelah masa pengasingannya dan kembali ke Indonesia, dia kemudian mendirikan sebuah lembaga pendidikan yang bernama Taman siswa. Hampir seluruh hidupnya dihabiskan untuk memperjuangkan kemajuan pendidikan di Indonesia, dan oleh perjuangannya, di era setelah kemerdekaan, dia diangkat menjadi Menteri Pendidikan. Filosofinya ‘Tut Wuri Handayani’ (di belakang memberi dorongan) hingga saat ini dipakai menjadi motto pendidikan Indonesia.
Mari kita peringati hari Pendidikan nasional hari ini dengan mengambil pelajaran dari covid 19. Diantaranya :

A wonderful serenity has taken possession of my entire soul, like these sweet mornings of spring which I enjoy with my whole heart. I am alone, and feel the charm of existence in this spot, which was created for the bliss of souls like mine.
I am so happy, my dear friend, so absorbed in the exquisite sense of mere tranquil existence, that I neglect my talents. I should be incapable of drawing a single stroke at the present moment; and yet I feel that I never was a greater artist than now.
